BODY

Movement is life, and nothing actually works without movement.  So much focus is put on the body, our physical part,  and not what actual moves it.

If you look at the attached photo, that is a real dissection of a human being nervous system.  I LOVE this photo and even have it enlarged and laminated to highlight that the body doesn't move without a nerve touching it and firing it to move. The purpose of our physical body is to house our spirit and soul - if those 2 parts of us are removed, we physically don't move. The body cannot do anything without a nerve touching it.

The nervous system is activated by our senses, our gut health and our spiritual status. The nervous system is basically our feeling - both physically, emotionally and spiritually. To move well, we need to look at ourselves as this whole otherwise forcing movement can actually cause more harm.

Let's make a hypothetical scenario:

Let's use a shoulder pain for example.  You have a shoulder pain that won't go away.

You might slouch a bit and round your shoulders because of sitting at a desk at work, or feeling overwhelmed and down.

You have been eating and drinking badly, overdoing the chemical load.  You had a round of antibiotics because you had food poisoning.

You had a massive fight/divorce/separation from a loved one or family that made you so angry and you refuse to talk to them and will not forgive.

Most of us would address this scenario by going to the physio - because that's what you think is best - and we try rehab, stretch, strengthen, work on our posture and "core"- do everything physically possible, but the pain remains.

That's because:

Did you know that the nerve that runs from the brain, through the right shoulder, and into your liver?

So if you haven't had an acute injury, and working on your posture hasn't helped, then you need to think of your other spiritual and emotional component.

Because if you're angry, bitter, hurt and resentful, that emotion pulls on the PHYSICAL nerve so that shoulder pain's root cause could be ANGER.

Or if you're not eating well, taking medication, overworking the liver, that same nerve that runs through the shoulder to the liver could be pulled because the LIVER is battling so the physical nerve is pulling.

We are not just physical! But what we do with our other parts affects our physical being! So we need to consider all factors when looking at our physical state.
