Myofascial massage is a specific remedial massage technique that’s best explained like an unravelling or opening up of something stuck. It treats the part of you that holds your nervous system - the Myofascial net that lies just under your skin. This net is classed as an organ due to its essential purpose in movement and function of body and mind.

For your body to truly release tension and pain you have to create an environment where your nervous system doesn’t feel further threat. When it feels safe to come out of “protecting-you-mode”, and believe it’s now safe to let go and release - only then can it reset and restore.

You CANNOT fight pain with pain.

The technique is not hard or bruising so that it will not trigger further restriction and protection by the nervous system.

A Myofascial massage will allow you to come in as you are, find the root cause, then leave with the tools to know how to maintain the benefits of the treatment.

Myofascial Massage specifically addresses the nervous system which controls every aspect of you. So want to address emotional trauma, mental fatigue, learning restrictions? 👉address the fascia. Want to address tight muscles, physical restrictions and injuries etc? 👉address the fascia. Want to address gut/hormone/thyroid/lymphatic/chronic illness etc? 👉address the fascia.
